FAQs

Does honey expire?

Honey does not spoil. If stored properly, it can last indefinitely due to its natural antibacterial properties. Over time our honey may crystallise, but this does not affect its quality or safety.

Where should I store my honey?

Store your honey in a dry place at room temperature to help prevent crystallisation. The colder the environment your honey is stored in, the quicker it may crystallise.

What should I do if my honey crystallises?

Crystallisation is a natural process. To quickly return honey to its liquid state, simply place the jar in warm water and stir until the crystals dissolve. Avoid overheating, as this can degrade the honey's beneficial properties.

Is our honey organic?

Our honey is sourced from bees that forage on our wildflower meadows, free from pesticides and chemicals. While not certified organic, it is produced using natural and sustainable practices.

How is our honey harvested?

Our honey is harvested with care to ensure the bees are not harmed. We use sustainable beekeeping practices to promote the health and well-being of our bee populations.

What goes well with our honey?

Our honey pairs beautifully with a variety of foods and drinks. It's perfect for drizzling over yogurt or fresh fruit for a touch of natural sweetness. Spread it on toast, pancakes, and waffles to satisfy your sweet cravings. And finally don't forget to stir a spoonful into your tea or coffee!

Why does the colour of honey vary?

The colour of our honey varies depending on the type of flowers our bees forage on and the nectar they collect. Our honey tends to be lighter in colour as our bees forage on our wonderful wildflower meadows, which produce a nectar that results in a delicate, light golden honey.
